Technical capabilities.
The unit accepts Quad Link SDI input and outputs a single link 12G-SDI signal, consolidating four SDI connections into one clean output. Broadcast-quality 24-bit 48 kHz audio is supported, maintaining signal integrity through the conversion process. SDI video connections are switchable between standard definition, high definition level A and level B 3G-SDI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI.
Control is handled via DIP switches on the front panel or through the included Teranex Utility software over USB or Ethernet, allowing remote configuration without physical access to the unit during a live production. An optional front-mounted Smart Panel with LCD, rotary knob and six settings buttons can be added for productions where hands-on control at the converter is preferred.
